I have spent almost a decade of my life as a hands-on qualified Dermal Clinican and have had the privilege of working intimately with people’s skin, up close and personal.
I am so glad you landed here, because if you did you are probably at wits end with your skin, a place I’ve been quite frequently in life, that affected me severely. Like most of you, I went through hell and back with my skin both in my adolescent and adult life struggling with PCOS, still to this day I manage my acne & pigmentation daily and treat my skin monthly!
I have seen it all over the years and have found the perfect balance between skin health, gut health, lifestyle, mental health and home routine but I also understand that no one will commit to changes to all of the above if they don’t know the WHY..
Today, I continue to educate my patients about the why of everything we do. From every treatment to product or supplements or instruction. Patient’s begin to understand and appreciate how holistic skin health is and we often have wonderful uncovering of health improvements as a result along the way.. yep, all thanks to SKIN! Patients feel empowered with knowledge and are able to utilise this daily and therefore you obtain results in no time because the commitment and trust is present, this is the key.
Another passion of mine, skin pioneering. Clients present to the clinic daily with severe petrochemical burns (from very pedestrian skincare brands, chemist brands, big chain brands). These incidents forced me to tirelessly research, it led me to be revolted by the industry and standards, and simply the ingredients so readily available to vulnerable uneducated clients. It forced me to create a solution to the problem, medical grade products, functional doses and encapsulated delivery system. Exclusive of nasties (highly marketed, rarely true and how would you know), no synthetics just pure botanically active rich, results driven products that are AFFORDABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY. Some of you may remember Skin Aesthetics by Elsa, which was where it all started. I began my nursing career but continued to struggle with my skin and found myself working as a skin therapist part time, to satisfy my forever long fascination with skin. From here it became an obsession and I fell in love with the larchest organsim of our system, THE SKIN! - You guessed it, I switched to Dermal Science Degree and not long after started Skin Aesthetics by Elsa, which began in a little granny flat we built. The locations has evolved, the business evovled and the name evolved.
A&E SKIN was born! Aesthetics & Elsa for skins needing ACTION & EMERGENCY! We love it, and we hope you do too!
